Westbury, rumor has it that the iconic Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, and in respect of the celebrations, one of the biggest musical legends to ever grace its stage will be returning for one night only!

Dion DiMucci, or mononymously known as Dion, has a lengthy career as one of the most prominent performers of the pre-British Invasion era, spanning nearly seven decades. He’s a doo-wop jukebox legend, a blues master, and a folk icon, with a brief period of dabbling in Christian music also in the bag, and even though he is just shy of 87 years old, he is still performing and releasing new material. It’s safe to say that even though Dion has a few miles on the odometer, there’s still a lot of fuel in the tank.

The Flagstar at the Westbury Music Fair is one of the nation’s most unique, most adored live entertainment venues. What started as a tented performing arts venue, eventually turned into a theatre in 1966, built by Lee Guber and Shelly Gross, with its very first performance being a production of The King and I.
