The line-up comprises some of the biggest names in salsa, and if you happen to enjoy the music, Aqui Esta La Salsa should definitely be on your bucket list.
The legendary Tony Vega is basically one the most renowned salsa performers in North America. Not only is he a phenomenal singer, but he is also a highly skilled bongo and conga player. He first came into the limelight as part of a salsa band, La Selecta. His work with La Selectra earned him a Grammy nomination for the single “La Nueva Cosecha.” By 1988, Vega pursued his solo career and released his debut album, Yo Me Quedo. The record became his best-selling effort to date and even charted in Billboard’s topical/salsa chart. His subsequent album Lo Mio Es Amor spawned the massive hits “Ella” and “Love is Forever.” The effort later earned his first gold certification. By 1991, Vega earned his first platinum, when his album, Uno Mismo, sold over 60,000 copies.

Like Tony Vega, Domingo Quiñones is an American-Puerto Rican artist. Hailing from Puerto Rico, he moved to New Jersey early in his life. At a young age, he began performing with Conjunto Nativo, as well as other orchestra groups. In 1990 he signed as a solo artist with RMM and dropped his debut album, Domingo Es Mi Nombre. Moreover, he notably released a collaboration single with Tony Vega titled “Dos Amigos.” In 1996, he released his most popular single, “Tu Como Estas,” from his studio album, Mi Meta. The song topped the Latin Tropical Airplay chart, making it his first-ever number 1 single.

Ray Sepulveda is a New Yorker like Tony Vega. But his roots are deeply embedded in Puerto Rico. Since the late ‘70s, he’s been an accomplished singer, performing with Orquestra Sociedad, Johnny Rivera, Adlaberto Santiago, and more. Sepulveda launched his solo career in 1991 and dropped his debut album, Un Poquito Mas, followed by his sophomore effort Con Sabor, which broke into the Billboard charts.
Catch all these amazing salsa artists as they deliver incredible music! Aqui Esta La Salsa is guaranteed to showcase countless Billboard charting hits, fan favorites, and many more.
