Grammy award winning songwriter, singer, and activist, Melissa Etheridge, is one of the true icons of American heartland rock, folk-pop, and blues.  Her songs hit home for she  gives it to you with such heartfelt emotions. One of her most recognizable trademarks as an artist is her raw, raspy, and smoky voice.  She may be an iconic figure among the gay and lesbian communities, but her music cuts across genders.  Everyone can relate to her issues inside, and she lets it all out with pure honesty.  She has brought memorable songs in music history that continue to influence generations of  audiences and artists to this day.  “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs”, “Ain’t It Heavy,” “I’m The Only One” and “Come To My Window,” are just some of the biggest hits to her name.  She’s a cancer survivor, and has been an inspiration to many. This year, she just released her 12th studio album entitled 4th Street Feeling.
