Doodlebops & Strawberry Shortcake at NYCB Theatre at Westbury

Strawberry Shortcake has been every young girls’ favorite animated series since 1980s. This charming red-haired little girl inspires kids of different generations to “do berry big things”. Her high-spirits and bubbly characteristic added to her lovable side. Everyone is surely familiar with her equally adorable buddies, Cherry Jam, Plum Pudding, Blueberry Muffin, Lemon Meringue, Raspberry Tote and Orange Blossom.

Strawberry Shortcake: Follow Your Berry Own Beat was fantastically written, choreographed and directed by Koba’s Artistic Director, and theatre expert Patti Caplette, Lorelei Bachman along and her father Randy Bachman co-wrote three brand new songs for this live show. You’ll be amazed as Strawberry Shortcake and the rest of the gang takes you on an extraordinary theatrical adventure. Cheer for your most loved characters as they each get ready for their moment in the spotlight for the Glitzy Glaze Talent Show.

Before the sweet little berry girls hit the stage, groove and sing along with the wackiest siblings, Rooney, Moe and Dee Dee Doodle. The Doodlebops has been child’s sensation ever since it was conceived in Canada by Michael Hirsh and Lee Wilcox. Their cheerful music never fails to get a child dancing in the aisles.
