Former Staind frontman and alt-country singer songwriter Aaron Lewis comes to NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Friday 21st February 2020 on his solo acoustic State I'm In Tour! Lewis will be performing tracks from the 2019 album with his band The Stateliners, as well as a varity of songs from his incredible career! The album is littered with heartfelt, confessional tunes from the gravel-voiced performer, who will be creating an intimate experience for fans with this show:
“My music is very first person, very autobiographical,” Lewis says in a press release. “It’s from my life experiences that I draw inspiration for my songs. This acoustic tour gives me the opportunity to share the stories behind my songs with my fans and play them stripped down, like I wrote them.”
Best known as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and founding member of the alternative metal band Staind, American singer, songwriter and musician Aaron Lewis is also a successful alternative country solo artist. After releasing seven studio albums with Staind from 1995–2012, including the number one albums Break the Cycle, 14 Shades of Grey and Chapter V, Lewis released his debut solo album, The Road, in 2012. He has since released two more solo albums – Sinner (2016) and State I'm In (2019). All three of his albums debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, with Sinner reaching number four on the Billboard 200.
